The actor was recently spotted on stage with Margot Robbie at the 95th Academy Awards on Sunday. The Million Dollar Baby alum took the stage with The Wolf Of The Wall Street actress to celebrate 100 years of the Warner Brothers Studios. According to PEOPLE, the actor has previously won Best Supporting Actor in 2005 for Million Dollar Baby, and he's been nominated for his roles in Street Smart, Driving Miss Daisy, The Shawshank Redemption and Invictus.
Fans were a bit worried when they saw the 85-year-old wear a satin nude-colored glove on his left hand. According to POP Sugar, he's been wearing the glove for over 10 years now after getting into a car accident in 2008. According to The Daily Beast, the actor had gotten into an accident where his car skidded off the highway, flipping over several times over a decade ago. He had shattered his left shoulder, arm and elbow and doctors ended up repairing the nerves on his arm for hours. The actor has still not fully recovered and has to wear a compression glove to prevent blood pooling. "I suffered nerve damage and it hasn't gotten better. I can't move it," Freeman was quoted as saying to PEOPLE at the time. "If you don't move your hand, it will swell up. Do you know you move your hand about a million times a day?"
