Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are supporting their son Samuel Affleck's love of basketball. The actress and her youngest child were spotted watching the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Golden State Warriors game while in the front row. Last month, the 10-year-old enjoyed the 2023 NBA All-Star Weekend in Salt Lake City, Utah, with his dad Ben Affleck. As for the mother-son duo, they spent time taking pictures and even held hands for good luck as they rooted for the Warriors per POP Sugar. Samuel showed his support for the Warriors by wearing a blue Stephen Curry t-shirt, jeans and mismatched sneakers. When the game was over the two stepped onto the court and hung out with and hugged NBA legend LeBron James. According to PEOPLE, last month Affleck and his son introduced the teams before the game and later posed for a photo with Shaquille O'Neal while hanging out courtside.
Affleck's upcoming movie AIR which also stars Matt Damon, Viola Davis, Chris Tucker, Jason Bateman, and Chris Messina, sees him play Nike co-founder Phil Knight. The movie follows the brand's pursuit of partnering with NBA legend Michael Jordan in 1984. His 53-year-old wife Jennifer Lopez shared a preview of the film last month. "AIR … cannot wait!" Lopez wrote in the caption on Twitter. The video starts with the words, “MY HUSBAND’S HAPPY FACE” written across the screen which pokes fun at Affleck's glum expression at the 2023 Grammy Awards on February 5.
