Lindsay Lohan is going to be a mom for the first time! The 36-year-old is expecting her first baby with her husband Bader Shammas, who she married last year. The "Parent Trap" star shared a photo of a white onesie that read "coming soon," and captioned it "We are blessed and excited! 🙏🤍👶🍼," while tagging Shammas in the post. Lohan's rep confirmed the news to Good Morning America adding that the actress is "very excited for this new chapter."
The pair dated for three years before becoming engaged in November 2021. The singer told GMA in November that she is enjoying married life. "It's amazing. I'm really lucky," she said. "I found my partner and he's an amazing man and we're a great team." After announcing their engagement Lohan shared a series of Instagram photos in November 2021. "My love. My life. My family. My future," she wrote in the caption. The Mean Girls star also referred to Shammas as "husband" in a heartfelt Instagram post in July 2022. "🎂❤️🥰I am the luckiest woman in the world. Not because I need a man, but because he found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time," Lohan said in her caption of a photo of the two of them. "I am stunned that you are my husband. My life and my everything. ❤️every woman should feel like this everyday 🙏💖"
In June, the actress shared another photo of the pair in celebration of her partner's birthday. "My love! You're not only a great man, an incredible person, you're my best friend," she captioned the selfie."Thank you for you loving me back babe! I Love You So much! ❤️ Happy Birthday 🎂🙌🙏❤️" According to PEOPLE, in February 2020 Lohan first sparked rumors of a romance brewing between the two when she shared a since-deleted group photo from a music festival in Dubai, casually mentioning a "boyfriend" in the caption. "@aliana lovely night with sister and my boyfriend bader. such a magical night," she wrote alongside the photo at the time. According to Yahoo News, Shammas is a financier who is based in Dubai. The Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen star moved to the United Arab Emirates in 2014 and has said lived a more private life ever since which she said she enjoys.

The Falling for Christmas star also had kinder words for her younger self. She posted an Instagram video in January of this year titled "Conversations with Little Me," which opens with young Lohan asking her older self, "Do I like my red hair?" To which present-day Lohan, "Yes, I love my red hair!" Similarly the video continues with her younger self asking, "What about my freckles?" to which grown-up Lohan answers, "They used to make me uncomfortable as a kid but now I realize how beautiful they are." Little Lohan asks some more questions before older Lohan ends with "Life is so beautiful & I'm so grateful for my husband, family & everything life brings!"
