The two played a neck-and-neck game but the Chiefs bagged the win just three points ahead of the Eagles, thanks to a field goal they scored in the last 10 seconds. Travis scored a touchdown for the Chiefs in the first quarter. According to POP Sugar, their mom was seen hugging her sons—consoling Jason, and congratulating Travis.
Jason said it was "just so cool" to see her celebrate with them. "It was an awesome moment. Just so happy for her and so happy that she got her moment, Dad got his," he said. "Ironically, you lose the Super Bowl, and you're crying after the game and they're not tears of sadness, they're tears of joy."

Both the Kelce brothers have already won the Super Bowl in the past: Travis with the Chiefs in 2019 and Jason with the Eagles in 2017. Either way, Donna Kelce is one proud mama and has the title of the first mother in NFL history to have two sons go head-to-head in the Super Bowl. She previously remarked, per NBC News, "They've already got the first win under their belts, so this is just going to be pure joy. We're going to really enjoy this, have a great time. Obviously, there's going to be somebody that's going to go home heartbroken. They won't have the bragging rights at the Thanksgiving table, but this is going to be an awesome event and I'm really looking forward to it." At the time the proud mom said she will be very elated no matter what the results were. "Probably some tears. And it'll just be a very, very emotional moment," she said.

In his SNL monologue, Travis admitted, "You know, people keep asking me what it was like to beat my brother in the Super Bowl, and it was really awkward. Especially cause after the game we had to drive home together — our Mom drove us there in a minivan, like the good old days," he added. He and his older brother, 35, had been playing the sport since they were "little kids." His older brother, Jason was always better than him at everything, according to Travis. "In high school, he was an honor student, and I got kicked off the team because I failed French, and English too, but French sounds way better," revealed Travis as the audience roared. The two did great in college as well but Travis said he got kicked off his football team for "testing positive for marijuana." "So it just goes to show you, if you smoke weed, and you're bad at school, you can win the Super Bowl twice," Travis joked. We wish the sporting family many more wins in the future.
